With Chinese New Year on the way (January 31st), the Jordan Brand is pushing out a spinoff of the AJ Mid 1s to celebrate the Year of the Horse. Though in Chinese traditions (more like superstitions), new shoes are not to be brought for the first month of the New Year for fear of bad luck or omen. Maybe these kicks are an exception especially replacing the Jumpman logo for the “Horse” symbol on the right tongue; hinting away at some Asian influence on the style of the kick.

Let us know on the comments if it’s a cop or drop.
