This is one of the best things I’ve seen. Legendary drummer ?uestlove of the Roots went to go visit sushi master Jiro (of Jiro Dreams of Sushi fame) and he instagrammed the experience. Now some chefs don’t fux with their guests pulling out their camera phones, especially in an esteemed holy-grail level spot like Sukiyabashi. But apparently, ?uestlove was on some REAL fanboy shit. He watched the film ten times, planned ahead with his fingers crossed that he’d have no gigs, then flew all the way to Japan just to try Jiro’s raw selects. So, Jiro obliged. The result: mad fanboying and hilarious commentary that for no reason (basically, every reason) got us hella hype!
