So, it looks like Korea’s girl groups might have some competition coming their way. Seven Sense is rollin’ seven girls deep and their rehearsal video for “Ode to Spring” went viral in China. If you peep their music, it sounds ‘very Asian’ whereas K-pop generally mimics the styles of the US/Europe. I don’t know if that will help them win or lose on the international stage but I’m not too mad at it.

The song being played is their latest single 咏春 or “Ode to Spring”.  It combines pop music with traditional Chinese features such the erhu, guqin and the pentatonic scale.
