DBZ x One Piece x Naruto Theme Park Coming to Japan Next Summer
Shonen Jump is getting its own theme park next summer. Which also means, I’m going to Japan next summer. Like cot damn, it’s about time they had a theme park for the big three. Mickey Mouse is cute and all, but I want to ride a flying nimbus ride, or a Going Merry water ride, and I don’t know, one of those face cut out things of Orochimaru you take can take pictures in front of.
The theme park will span about 6,168 square meters (about 1.52 acres) on the third floor of the Sunshine City World Import Mart Building in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro ward.
Namco will be the main operator of the park with the rest of the Namco Bandai Group offering its character business expertise in toys, hobby goods, entertainment content, and amusement facilities. (The Sunshine City World Import Mart Building already houses Namco‘s indoor theme park Namja Town on the second and third floors.) Shueisha‘s Weekly Shonen Jump editors will take part in the project and collaborate on the planning. The anime studios Toei Animation and Pierrot will also participate.
Glad to hear that Shonen Jump editors will take part in the project so they do it right!
