Father’s Day was yesterday and I spent a good part of the day scrolling through Instagram and Facebook seeing all these great dedications to fathers. But I also saw a good amount of posts about absentee dads and fathers who passed away. I guess that’s what every holiday is like now with social media. Anyway, I made it through the day without shedding any teardrop but then I seen this.

Photographer Jinna Yang’s father wanted to travel the world but he lost a battle to cancer before he could. She decided to honor his memory by taking this cardboard cutout of him on a world tour.

I know my own mom also wants to see the world and it’s only a matter of time before she’ll be too old for all that or God forbid she passes away early. Cotdamn. Follow Jinna on Instagram.
