Using rap to sell products hasn’t been cool since the Olde English commercials, but Heems latest ad for Vitamin Water in Japan is an exception. To bring out their concept of ‘remixing’ coconut water with vitamins, the NY native highlights a couple ‘remix’ trends going on in New York that are both awesome (ramen burgers) and not so awesome (like using baby strollers as exercise, which of course, is actually pretty awesome). I guess this commercial is capitalizing on the fact that Japan love NYC but I don’t see why this ad wouldn’t work in America as well. Too good.
