Li Hongbo’s Pure White Paper Sculptures Are Kinda Creepy

Published On February 5, 2013 | By Dave | art, design, videos, wtf

Beijing artist Li Hongbo creates expandable sculptures by manually gluing thousands of sheets together. You really have to just click play and see how his work functions. I haven’t seen anything like it but it kinda creeps me out the way everything is so lifelike/realistic and then it becomes almost fluid. Maybe it’s just me. Would love to see this in person.
