Something about New Balance doesn’t feel youthful. Maybe it’s the fact that my dad wears them because his feet hurt or the fact that Ryan Gosling shits on Steve Carrel’s pair in Crazy, Stupid Love and whatever Gosling says is LAW. With that said, I got a pair. I like the look and they ain’t playing when it comes to comfort levels. But if you’re not a fan, their foray into skate shoes, dubbed New Balance Numeric, might win you over.
Gosling’s statements really hurt my heart though.
