OG Graffiti Artist Diagnosed with ALS Continues ‘Getting Up’

If you know your graffiti, then you know about Tony “Tempt One” Quan. He’s been writing since the 80′s and was instrumental in establishing the scene out in Los Angeles. So, it came as a shock to the community when he was diagnosed with ALS about nine years ago. Since then, he’s almost fully paralyzed and lies in a hospital bed. But that doesn’t mean he’s finished. The OG continues to create using the Eyewriter. Yes, very Diving Bell and the Butterflyesque but with graffiti son! The Getting Up documentary captures that story.
