Stan Lee’s Newest Superhero is Asian!

Don’t ever say OG comic man Stan Lee ain’t never do anything for you. The man who brought you Spiderman, The Avengers, and X-men, recently created an Asian superhero, The Annihilator. Look:

Word? From just looking at him, I can’t tell if this dude’s either really white-washed or a FOB (neither a bad thing, of course). Or he could be one of those FOBs who move to those predominantly-white towns in suburbia without the ESL programs and so he’s BOTH! AMAZING. But probably not..

The Annihilator, which will be written by Bourne Legacy and Real Steel scribe Dan Gilroy, is the story of “a young Chinese expatriate named Ming, who must choose between remaining in prison or enlist in a secret U.S. super soldier program.” After a grueling gauntlet of tests and experiments, Ming survives thanks to “his extreme resolve, gained as a result of his family’s tradition of practicing Qijong and martial arts.”

EXTREME RESOLVE, DAWG!

Anyway, they’re making a movie and it could be really silly or really great if they pick the right dude. Who could play him? I vote Channing Tatum if they decide to go with a white guy as usual, God bless America!
