This kid can see in the dark, ya’ll. When his dad took him to the doctor because his eyes would glow, the doctors told him it would go away, but it didn’t.

To test his abilities, a Chinese journalist prepared a set of questionnaires which he was able to finish while sitting in a pitch black room. The tests show Nong can read and write perfectly without any light and can see as clearly as most people do during the day.

According to the World Record Academy (the leading international organization which certify world records), Nong has even set the world record for the first human who can see in the dark.

Honestly, that must suck for young Nong. When I was a kid, I didn’t want to see in the dark because I knew the monsters were there. And being probed by researchers in lab coats doesn’t seem like any type of recreational activity but that’s what’s going on right now as they look for answers. Also, his eyes hurt when he’s out playing under the sun. Damn.

Ah well, someday this talent will become beneficial like when the girl’s like ‘mind if we turn off the lights’ and he’s like ‘no, not at all, I can see eeeeeeeeeeverything heh heh heh eh eh’.
