Damn bro, they say a picture’s worth a thousand words. I’d say these pictures are worth one word, and that word is ‘misery’. I mean, I thought I’ve been in crowded situations taking these NYC subways but cot damn!

Michael Wolf, a German-born artist, has been taking pictures in Tokyo’s subways for the past 15 years. Every time he clicks his camera, the feelings of people inside the trains are captured.

“I spent 20 days [Monday to Friday] every morning from 7:30 until 8:45 at the same subway station shooting portraits of people on their way to work.”
